Pink is a color that shows a guy has style power this spring. You can do it and you should do it. Maybe not with purple pants but color pants are another key trend which we found at H&M.

Easy style

Christian needed to step up his style for a party but didn’t want to do layers of clothes. Easy… add a tie, a tie bar and cool shoes. Of course, make sure the shirt and the jeans are slim fit.

Spring pink

Shoes matter

You have probably heard that a girl looks at your shoes first. That might be true but we do know that shoes can make or break a cool style.

Left: called a saddle oxford; you could get a tan with leather first
Middle: brown wingtips should be your main shoe this spring
Right: a boat shoe in classic brown or this blue is another good shoe

Slim jeans

The biggest impact you can make on your wardrobe is FIT. Most of they guys we work with are still wearing baggy jeans with stuff on the back pockets. The first thing you can do to upgrade your look is switch to a Levi’s 514 fit in a dark wash. Every outfit will have better style if you have classic jeans that fit.

Here is a Levi fit guide that might help you decide. Remember, it’s all about a slim fit not skinny jeans.

Break the Rules

There are things that look good in style but there are a lot of ‘rules’ you might have heard in the past… that should be broken. Break of rule of not to mix patterns: this dot tie works with the plaid shirt. Break the rule of your tie up tight: loosen it up. One rule to follow: if you look in the mirror twice before you leave and don’t know if your combo looks good… it probably doesn’t so go change.

White style

Gingham at Banana

Gingham shirts are the biggest trend for spring. They can be one color or two colors with white. We found great no-iron shirts at Banana Republic that come in both Slim Fit and Traditional Fit.
