Blackberry is a classic fall flavor. The team at Hudson Bourbon sent us some samples to try their new fall recipe. Hudson is a top quality brand and the cocktail is stellar.

Blackberry Bourbon SourBlackberry Baby Bourbon Sour
2 oz. Hudson Baby Bourbon
3-4 Fresh blackberries
0.75 oz. Simple syrup
0.75 oz. Lemon juice
Add to pint mixing glass: 3-4 fresh blackberries + 0.75 oz. simple syrup, muddle well. Add 0.75 oz. lemon juice, 2 oz. Baby Bourbon, and ice. Shake vigorously. Double strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with blackberry folded into lemon twist on pike.

1.5 oz. Hudson Four Grain Bourbon
0.75 oz Dolin Blanc vermouth
0.5 oz Raspberry shrub
Brut sparkling wine
Add to mixing glass: 1.5 oz. Four Grain, 0.75 oz. vermouth, 0.5 oz. raspberry shrub, ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into champagne flute, top with sparkling wine. Garnish with single raspberry on rim.
