Many people work hard to get their body ready to go for the summer months. Looking good in a swim suit is top priority for some people! Then when the fun in the sun goes away people seem to suddenly stop caring! It’s important to keep up with your fitness goals even when you can’t hang out in a swim suit all day.
If you work hard to get your body looking how you want and then completely let yourself go there can be a number of issues that come from that, for instance, the next time you try to lose weight it will be even harder than the first time. The rate at which your body burns calories can lower significantly and in bad cases your hormone levels can get messed up!
Fitness is about so much more than looking good on a beach. Why look good for 3-4 months when you can look good all year?! The great thing about being on a fitness plan is that there is always more you can improve on. In other words, there should never be a time during the year when you don’t have a goal to work towards. Plus, if you keep going, you’ll look even better the following summer!
